NEWS

The Office of University Summer Sessions is pleased to share some highlights for the 2012 Summer Sessions program:

  • High demand math courses typically offered at the Math Emporium will be offered face-to-face at the Blacksburg campus. They include:
    • MATH 1015-1016: Elementary Calculus with Trigonometry,
    • MATH 1525-1526: Elementary Calculus with Matrices I and II

The online environment is an attractive option for many students during the summer, as it allows them to simultaneously meet academic and work-related goals. Here is a sample of some online courses slated for the 2012 timetable:

  • COMM 2004: Public Speaking (professional and career focus)
  • ECE 2004: Electric Circuit Analysis
  • MASC 1024: Mathematical Sciences (liberal arts)
  • MATH 1114: Elementary Linear Algebra
  • PHS 1514: Personal Health
  • PHS 3534: Drug Education
  • STAT 2004: Introductory Statistics (duplicates the content of MASC 1034)
